Sticky Biscuits

My eldest son turned sixteen yesterday.

Oldest with the Youngest

For dinner he requested one of his favorite breakfast meals: Mama’s Sticky Biscuits. My version of these is similar to monkey bread… only individual sizes!

Mama’s Sticky Biscuits

1/2 cup (real) butter; melted
1/2 cup brown sugar
4T Corn Syrup (I use the light)
4T Sugar
2tsp Cinnamon
2 Cans of Grands Biscuits (10oz or more – these are the only kind I use!)

Heat oven to 375°.  Spray or butter 24 muffin pans. In a bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup. Spoon about a teaspoon of the mixture into each muffin cup. Combine sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and mix well. Cut each biscuit into six pieces then toss pieces into the mixture cinnamon/sugar mixture and coat evenly. Place about five pieces into each muffin cup. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until nice and golden brown. Remove from pans immediately by flipping them over onto wax paper. Makes 24 yummy, gooey, pull apart, biscuits.
