Simply sharing the gifts today as I continue to count the graces the Lord gives me each day…
(#31 – 44)
* For a husband’s leading of family devotionals each night
* For the longer days that “spring forward” brings
* Laughter in the backyard
* A washing machine … especially on sick days
* The simple joy that puzzles bring little hands
* A husband that takes care of me and knows me better than I sometimes know myself
* The joy that teaching my children brings
* A husband that loves me despite my many, many flaws
* Snuggles with sick little ones that only a mamma can have
* Kisses from messy faces full of chocolate and sticky
* Mistakes because I learn from them
* A backyard big enough for children running and playing
* The strength of the Lord when I feel I have nothing left to give
* Patience being worked out in the flesh
I’m just one in a big community of those scribbling down the treasured moments. Maybe you have your own?

Kisses from messy faces === my favorite today. Strange how it just doesn’t matter to little ones that their faces are a mess!!!! It only matters how it tastes! I’ll take those kisses any day! Thanks for your list. Hope everyone is feeling better this week!
Cora recently shared..Counting Gifts – Week of March 28- 2011
Cora – so true! Everyone is better except my husband who is now down and out. Bless his heart!
Patience being worked out – ouch – a tough one!

Yes! Very blessed!
When we are weak, His strength shines through. God bless you for allowing Him to be your strength.
I am a new follower, please stop by and consider returning the favor.
Glad you stopped by Jenny! Yes, so thankful for HIS strength!!!
Here it is, Sunday morning and I’m still reading thank you lists. Seems the more thanks I read – the more thankful I get.
And I always pick a favorite from the list, today my favorite from yours was, * The strength of the Lord when I feel I have nothing left to give (I have a “sleep thing” – diagnosed but apparently incurable – the equivalent of about 3 hours a night – so energy runs out – and I know how many times it’s been all gone – and He filled it up) {smile}
Thank you for this, and God Bless and keep you and your family
